Most ridiculous
Is it me or its just that Im not feeling the rush?
Honestly, I dont like driving in Manila starting from the 10th of December until 23rd since its one hell of a traffic in the metro considering the busloads of people criss crossing the street and the surge in motor vehicles on the street at the same time.
I can only estimate the amount of wasted energy (petroleum) from idling cars, wasted energy (effort to wait) for commuters to extend their misery inside a stalled jeepneys and wasted time for each and every juan de lca cruz screwing around the metro.
Guess who's slipping?
I came across www.pba.ph and it seems to me that Alaska Aces Tim Cone is on the verge of snapping his neck anytime soon. Considering the number of championship rings he got and now what he got are a team of big paycheck hoodlums that cant bring any bacon at the end of 4th quarter. Too bad for the man who effectively introduced the Triangle Offense over at a-used-to-be explosive team who efficiently squared it off with any team any time of the day.
Airplanes and Ships
I was expecting this kind of article ever since Cebu Pacific converted itself into a Low-cost carrier and effectively got a slice of the domestic pie.
Click on the following for your reference:
- Budget-fare dogfight boosts economy, but sinks shipping firms
- Bombing Aboitiz, Sulpicio and Negros out of the water
- PAL and CEB, the old big players, are shooting back
- Govt welcomes more budget airlines to meet tourism targets
Got Christmas? You get Traffic!
Quite frankly I still dont get the fever combo-ed with the amount of time wasted on traffic which are directly caused by the sudden surge of pedestrians and vehicles.
Its either you leave for your destination very early and get back to your home very late. Hmm this is bad news for people with not enuff cash to hold it in for 14 hrs at the mall in order to avoid any inconvenience. this is bad news for me, wala na ako pera e.
Foodies galore!
Of course, with the season comes along heavy spending on sick material things and food for those people who just got their measly bonuses. Im just wondering if the big spenders have opted to save some for the coming dry months..
By January, ill be putting a shop with a different vibe for you guys out there so u better watch out and lets see if it works coz ur freakin invited.
Im not scrooge but i think tama ung sinasabi ng mga matatanda na ang pasko ay para sa mga bata...If you look at it closer, its the kids that enjoys the season so much that the elders over-commercialize it for them.
Im looking forward for serenity and a simple family dinner this christmas season, hope it gets rewarded.

on tim:
a little birdie told me he's on his last year with the aces. i heart tim but...
